The Carrigaholt Development Association was started in 1994. Our members are people of the Carrigaholt area who take an interest in, and have pride in, their community.
Our Tidy Towns Committee work hard to keep our lovely village attractive and pleasing. Flower baskets, neatly trimmed grassy picnic areas, a well-kept beach and freshly painted cottages all contribute to the charming aspect of the village.
This year we held a successful fund-raising event, "Want to be a Thousandaire", which gave us a badly needed boost to our coffers. Once again, we thank all those who contributed.
Visitors this summer would have noticed the beautiful hanging baskets on the bridge that brings you over the Moyarta River into the village, as well as overflowing flower tubs in the Village Square.
